Ah Jack thank you. And you would genuinely be welcome! But be aware we've only been here less than two years, and it's all embryonic and scrappy yet, though our potager is growing nicely. Lots of vision for it though, and the land and spot are beautiful.
Ah yes Worm Moon indeed - we've had endless rain this winter. I'm kind of glad though, as at least the aquifers will be filling.
The peach blossom is gorgeous and love the dogs hair being carried off for cosy nests. Sea buckthorn is just gorgeous -- amazing density of vitamins and minerals and flavanoids -- wonderful for microcirculation, eyes and supportive of major organis -- heart, brain, liver, kidneys -- wonderful to have this among your trees :)
I read your planting and gardening (farming?) posts with such envy….my horticultural knowledge is so minuscule 😩
Pauline, we're making it up as we go along much of the time! And we all have our strengths. I wish I had the guts to sing in a choir, for instance.
Haven't had the chance yet to read the essay – tonight or tomorrow, I hope (residency issues permitting).
Enjoy Fouesnant.
It certainly doesn’t ever read like you’re making it up 😂. If so….great storytelling! And thanks, weather looks poor but food sounds great.
Thank you for Blossom Moon and all the details of association for this lunar season for you! Wonder and delight!!
And again, big thanks to you, Rebecca, for generous comments and joining the conversation :-)
Worm Moon feels appropriate this year because of all the rain that has endlessly poured into my world.
I'm interested in following the progress of your buckthorn this year. If the climate seems appropriate, I might be tempted to do the same next year.
Wonderful edition - I even feel tempted to pop over to Brittany for a visit - your place sounds inspired.

I'll keep you posted on the sea buckthorn.

Ah thank you Jan! Yes, I'm discovering more and more benefits to sea buckthorn :-).
I agree with Pauline. I also like our connections to our ancestral past.
See my comment back, Marg! Yes, our ancestral past, that continuity, seems significant to me.
